Apart from all this, the genetic factor also matter for obesity. There are people who do not eat a lot and yet they continue gain more weight. There’s not much one can do about these things because this is hereditary or genetics working here. 

There are people who easily gain weight and such because they do not have a very active lifestyle. This holds true to people who live on fast foods and the likes. It is important for you to be healthier through exercises and freshly prepared meals. If you can’t get a restaurant to give you that kind of food you look for, then you can always prepare food for yourself from those you find in grocery stores, markets and more.
Another reason why some people gain weight is pregnancy. It’s easiest for women to gain weight because pregnancy is what helps them gain a lot of weight. You should be careful in cases like these. You can actually monitor your weight even when you are pregnant. Just don’t forget to workout mildly.

Physiology of weight gain:

When we intake food, it goes to stomach and here digestion of food takes place. The food is digested to small parts and then it goes to each and every cell, giving them energy and power as they go. It is in these cells that the food particles that are so small are converted into calories. This energy is used by the body for its many different functions. When we intake food more than our body requirement then extra food is converted into fats and gets store in the adipose tissue. With increase in deposition, the weight increases and a person get fat or obese. 

Disadvantages of weight gain

There are many disadvantages of weight gain or obesity. The body weight increase which changes the shape of body can make one unattractive or disturbing in terms of body image. A lot of people today are averse to those who are fat or obese. Indeed, fat people are being made fun of today. If this is something you do not want to happen to you, then you should try losing weight using various means of doing so. Obese people are the easiest to get sick, too, which is why more people do not like being obese.

 Why people want to lose weight

People want to lose weight to be slim and beautiful. They want to stay away from the fatal diseases which are caused by obesity. People want to lose weight to become a great and active part of society and to play their social role efficiently. People want to get indulge in physical activity in which obesity is a hindrance. People want to lose weight to be fit. People want to lose weight because they want to wear their old clothes again. So, they seek a weight loss program if they gain weight.

In present time, the number of obese people has increased. People are worry about this situation. They want to lose weight but they do not know, how? There are different means through which you can lose weight. Many weight loss programs have launched on community basis in different countries.

First step to loss weight is to pay attention on your diet. You must be careful and aware of that what you are eating. You should take healthy diet and the amount of food intake must be according to the need of your body. Not consume much fried and preserved and canned food. Try to use raw vegetables and fruit, which are main source of energy. Dairy product like butter, milk, yogurt etc should not much consume.  Eat only half of your hunger. Your stomach should be empty one third. Make a proper routine and fix times to your breakfast, lunch and dinner. This weight loss program will help you greatly to get rid of obesity.

Proper exercise and activity is very important in daily life. People with less activity jobs should do some work in which physical activity involve. Student should make their habit for a morning walk daily before breakfast and should do an evening walk after dinner. Do not sleep immediately after intake of food. Make exercise and walk a part of life to avoid obesity.

If your weight has been increase beyond the limit then you should consult a physician or a dietitian. Dietitian will take a complete checkup and some tests then he will formalize a diet plane for you and will prescribed some medicine also for you. After regular use of medicine and with dietary plane weight will loss to great extant.

Other weight loss programs include therapeutic weight loss technique. In which the special food list according to weight guide pyramid is arrange with exercise and the some medicine which is standardize and helpful in losing weight. Doctors more often suggest this type of program.

In highly obese people the extra fats are remove through surgery. In this procedure surgery is done on patients and the extra fat from the abdomen, back, shoulder and hips is removed. Although it is very costly for a middle rank person but this procedure is very effective.

If someone want to lose weight now a day it is not difficult for him. He/she should have will power then he/she can lose weight by any program which is suitable for him/her.
